I present to you all my February Makeup Faves. Granted, some of these products are not new releases; however, a few of them recently graced my collection and have become my "go-to" products. They are a bit on the pricey side, but I always believe that you get what you pay for. I do have lesser priced products of the same type, but they just don’t make the cut as far as quality is concerned.
FROM TOP TO BOTTOM
§ Too Faced’s Shadow Insurance Primer – a LITTLE goes a LONG WAY with this product. It covers any area generously, holds pigments well, and does not crease.
§ Too Faced’s Better Than Sex Mascara – I have just gotten into mascaras lately so I never knew the true power of a good one. When I tell you, hunty that this mascara is the b-o-m-b! Naturally it appears as if I have no lashes, but this mascara gives them plumpness and elongation. I absolutely adore it.
§ Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette & Too Faced's Chocolate Bar Palette – neutral tones, some matte, some shimmery. So many soft looks can be done with these palettes. They colors last, literally, all day. These are both definitely those “you pay for quality” products. Oh, and the TFCBP smells just like actual chocolate.
§ MAC Pro Longwear Foundation – so amazing! This foundation has great coverage and can be worn alone. However, it has a bit of a dewy finish and I like mine to look more matte since I naturally have an oily t-zone. So use the MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation (which also can be worn alone) on top to even out my coverage. Both work great with highlighting and contouring.
